Season 1 of Call of Duty: MW4 is scheduled to begin on Friday, November 6, three weeks after the early access campaign period starts and two weeks after the full launch.

As you can see, the first post-launch addition will be the return of Shipment, arriving four days after release on October 27. Two days later, on October 29, a new Halloween mode titled Possession Mode will be added to Multiplayer. Infected returns on October 30.

This means players will have content to look forward to in the first week post-launch, on top of all the content the game will include at launch.
