Season 5 is coming to Warzone, and although this is late in the Black Ops 7 post-launch cycle, it still has a few things to offer. From a new place to visit in Verdansk to several new toys for players to use during a match, and some new LTMs.

When Does Warzone Season 5 Come Out?
Season 5 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone is scheduled to come out on Thursday, July 23. A new update will go live at 9:00 AM PT (6:00 PM BST) for all platforms to add the new content.
A second batch of content will arrive with the mid-season refresh, possibly three weeks after its start. At this point it's unclear how long the entire season will last, but it should be between 8 and 9 weeks.

Weapons
Starting with the weapons, here are all the new toys coming out throughout the season:
- FG42 (Assault Rifle): Unlockable through the battle pass
- Gremlin (SMG): Unlockable through the battle pass
- Mammoth (LMG): Unlockable through an event
- Mace (Melee weapon): Unlockable through the weekly challenge rewards
New Verdansk POI
A new POI titled Drone Labs will be added to Verdansk, specifically located east of TV Station and south of Quarry.
The main section of the facility has two L-shaped buildings connected through a zipline and a skybridge. Each building has multiple levels, and there is a drone obstacle course north of the facility.
Most excitingly, the facility has an armed JLTV parked inside a locked garage, and players will have the chance to retrieve the codes to open the garage to drive said vehicle.
New Gameplay Features
Here is the new arsenal and equipment coming to the game throughout the season:
- Juggernaut Armor (Available at launch): The armor will be added to both Battle Royale and Resurgence.
- Supply Drones (Available at launch): Supply drones will be flying above Verdansk, and players can shoot them down to get extra loot.
- HKDs Killstreak (Available at launch): New killstreak for both Battle Royale and Resurgence that drops an aerial payload of Hunter Killer Drones on the enemy.
- Quickdrop Kit (Available in the mid-season): Only available in Resurgence and can be earned by completing a Most Wanted contract. This is a stackable reward that cuts down your squad's redeployment time.
- Special Delivery Drone (Available in the mid-season): Only available in Resurgence. A drone that can be shot down to claim the loot box.
Other Details
Here are other minor details about the upcoming season so you don't miss out on anything:
- Spectre, the Black Ops 3 specialist, will be added at the start of the season as a new operator.
- The season will add two LTMs: Lockdown Casual and Heavy Metal Heroes.
- Lockdown Casual (Available at launch, 12v12, Verdansk): Drop into the Drone Labs POI with your Custom Loadout and battle for control of the various zones around the map. Experiment with all sorts of killstreaks including the Juggernaut as you constantly respawn with one equipped, making every match unpredictable.
- Heavy Metal Heroes (Available in-season, 50v50, Battle Royale): In this mode, players can use heavy vehicles to earn eliminations. Eliminations grant operator buffs, meaning having a vehicle is not the only way to stay in the fight.
