Good news for Sora no Kiseki (Trails in the Sky) fans—Nihon Falcom’s remake of its acclaimed JRPG series is set to launch on September 25, according to a gaming market listing.

The game is reportedly priced at $60 for both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 versions.

Two decades after its original release on older consoles, longtime fans will finally see the return of Estelle and Joshua Bright in this highly anticipated remake. The land of Liberl is reborn with stunning new visual detail, befitting its remake status.

Fans of the series’ classic turn-based combat can enjoy a refined approach to its strategic gameplay, while those seeking a fresh experience can opt for the new real-time action system—perfect for players who grew up with games like Star Ocean.

Joshua, Estelle, and the rest of the cast from Trails in the Sky: First Chapter will also feature new voiceovers in both English and Japanese, breathing new life into the game’s classic JRPG charm with a modern touch.
