The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered dropped on September 29. The remaster is a major overhaul and modernization of the game, with huge gameplay upgrades and bundles the DLCs with the main game. Following the update's release, CD Projekt Red has left some goodies for fans to get for free.

How to Get Free, Brand New Items in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered

To celebrate the release of the major update, CD Projekt Red has added several new (and free!) items to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered.

These items are the Rabble-rouser hair, the Armor of a Thousand Flowers, the Scarlet Crest Armor, the White Widow of the Valley of Flowers sword, and an additional sword. The armor and swords can be found in the Royal Palace in Vizima after wrapping up the White Orchard prologue, while the hairstyle can be found at any barber.

To get these items, you need to link your CD Projekt Red account to the game. You can do this in-game. If you're playing on console, open The Witcher 3, then open the Load Game menu. From there, select Cross Progression, and a QR Code will appear on your screen. Scan that code with your phone and log in to (or create) a CD Projekt Red account.

Afterward, you'll receive a verification code in your email. After verifying your email, your accounts will be linked.

If you're playing the game on PC, launch The Witcher 3 through the REDlauncher. Sign in to the launcher using your CD Projekt Red account. Your accounts should automatically be linked upon launch.

Thanks to Remastered's new Transmog feature, you'll be able to use these armor sets without worrying about stats. So, if you like how these look but are worried about them being weak, don't sweat it - you'll be able to use them just fine.
