Dota 2 in Summer 2025: What to Watch
As summer approaches, Dota 2 fans and players will be gearing up for The International 2025. The game’s annual international tournament will take place in Hamburg, Germany, at the Barclays Arena. As usual, there will be two parts: The Road to the International is scheduled for 4-7 September and will see the 16 qualifying teams reduced to eight. Then from 11 to 14 September, The International will see the eight remaining teams whittled down further. On 14 September, the Grand Final will determine the winner.
All eyes will be on Team Liquid to see whether the team can win two years in a row and scoop a record-breaking third win. Gaiman Gladiators is another one to watch: having placed second in both 2023 and 2024, they could finally become winners this year. There’s also Team Spirit, which won in both 2021 and 2023.
