A new Tuesday update for CS2 was released overnight, along with its patch notes detailing all the changes.

Although the patch is not as significant, it has two interesting changes for the bomb's mechanics. For starters, the bomb's explosion will now interact with the smoke grenade cloud and the molotov cocktail fire, dispersing the cloud for a few seconds and extinguishing the fire if they are in the blast radius.

The second change is related to the projected damage shown to the player when the bomb goes off. Previously, as soon as the bomb is planted, the damage would appear in the player's UI, indicating the amount of damage they would receive in their current position.

Teams would exploit this to determine the planter's exact position. To remediate this, Valve has changed this, and the indicator will now show up only after the bomb becomes audible for the player.
