During an interview with Variety, Xbox Chief Content Officer Matt Booty was asked how he deals with the player's disappointment when the game they're anticipating isn't announced. There, he gave a little teaser of the future of Elder Scrolls 6.

He acknowledged that it's one of the challenges of the job to balance expectations with waiting until the right moment. Then, he informed readers that Elder Scrolls is still in production, stating, "Having visited Bethesda and sat with Todd and seen 'Elder Scrolls' playing, it looks amazing, and it’s coming along well. And we’ll make sure to announce it and really reveal it at the right time."

While they still haven't announced when the game is coming out, this has at least reassured fans that it's still coming. What's curious is that this new update arrived almost exactly 8 years after the game was originally announced, making us wonder if it will come out before we get to 10 years.
