Developer BEF Games and publisher Tripwire Presents have announced that The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire will receive its biggest update yet on July 14. It will be a free update for the Steam early access program.
The New Blood update will redesign the Campaign Mode, add new criminal activities, include deeper progression systems, and include several quality-of-life improvements. It will build upon the recently released Rise of the Families update, which is the community’s most requested feature. It offered a fully playable third-person camera and action mode.

A Completely Reworked Campaign
New Blood's headline feature is a fully reimagined campaign mode that offers a cinematic action sequence. They have naturally introduced it through redesigned story missions that let you experience drug production, warehouse management, office upgrades, territory expansion, and illegal businesses.
But if you are someone who prefers freedom, then you can skip the campaign and jump straight into Sandbox Mode.
Night City Gets More Dangerous
New Blood has introduced several new criminal enterprises. Here, you can recruit professional thieves to carry out burglaries or expand your drug distribution networks by capturing selling points throughout the city.
It has also introduced underground fight clubs. Here, gangsters can wager money and battle opponents, using anything from chairs to broken bottles, to earn both cash and street credibility.
Other Updates
Are you into drift races? Buy your favorite supercar and customize it through the Chop Shop with performance upgrades, armor, steering improvements, and visual wraps.
Also, take part in Kurohana Warehouse raids, where rival crime families will now demand a share of profits from businesses operating inside their territory. It will encourage players to fight for control of Night City.
