The next collaboration event for Apex Legends has been announced, and this time it's Cyberpunk's turn. This crossover is based on the CD Projekt Red franchise, instead of the original tabletop game series.
Before the event goes live, we've prepared a summary of the new content that will be added so you can decide whether it's worth it or not.
When Does the Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Event Start?
The Apex Legends x Cyberpunk collab event is scheduled to start on Tuesday, July 17. The content will go live at 10:00 AM PT on all platforms, as that is the usual update time for the game.
The crossover event will remain available for three weeks, which is usually the longest an event lasts in the game, ending on August 4 at the same time.

Here is the event's trailer, where we can see legends dressing up as characters from the Cyberpunk 2077 game and the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, as well as the new E-District takeover:
Skins and Cosmetics
The event introduces eight new legendary skins based on characters from the 2077 game and the Edgerunners anime. These are the legends receiving a new skin, and the characters they represent:
- Sparrow: David Martinez
- Axle: Lucy
- Rampart: Rebecca
- Gibraltar: Royce
- Ash: Lizzy
- Loba: Panam
- Crypto: Male V
- Lifeline: Female V
Besides being available through the event's boxes, all the legendary skins but the Male and Female V will be available through the store. You can see the prices in the image below:
The event's rewards tab will offer two epic skins, one for Valkyrie and another one for Mirage. These cosmetics can be bought with Eddies, the event's currency that players can get by completing daily event challenges.
The following weapons will get a skin throughout the event: Wingman, Charge Rifle, Mastiff, L-STAR, P2020, RE-45, R-301, and Kraber. On top of that, the event's mythic will turn the Alternator into a recreation of the Skippy, the smart pistol with an AI in the form of a bullet.
Just like in Cyberpunk 2077, the pistol will feature the talking bullet AI as a hologram and also have a special inspect animation.
E-District Takeover and Wildcard Event
A new takeover is coming to E-District, transforming the small map into a recreation of Night City, the iconic city where most of the story of Cyberpunk takes place. The map will feature neon skyboxes, holographic koi, and glitched-out signs.
A new Wildcard event will take place during this takeover, where players can equip two new Cyberware mods.
- Sandevistan: Quick dashes in any direction that recharge your shields. Chain two dashes before touching ground to close gaps or ghost out of danger.
- Blackwall Breach: Phase into the Net to reposition, then unleash a disruptive EMP that cracks enemy shields and tracks their location.
Legends will have a set Cyberware Capacity, and when someone fills it out, their legend will go into full Cyberpsycho and gain the following effects:
- High movement speed
- Devastating melee damage
- No weapons
- No abilities
- No shields
- No ordnance
Players can reverse Cyberpsycho or keep their capacity in check with Immunoblocker Syringes or Immunoblocker Caches, which will clear the meter.
