Nintendo is gearing up for the holidays after a new Switch 2 Pokemon Legends Z-A bundle was officially unveiled during the July 22 Pokemon Presents stream.

The presentation was a nothingburger of a show unless you're a die-hard PokeManiac. There were plenty of news on Pokemon Sleep, Pokemon Unite, both TCG, and TCG Pocket, animated shows, and a look at the upcoming real-life theme park set to open in early 2026 occupied the majority of the stream. People who wanted at least a teaser of the next mainline game were out of luck, but at least they showcased a couple of new things regarding the upcoming Legends Z-A, including a brand-new Switch 2 bundle.

If you're interested in the newly unveiled Mega Dragonite, Nintendo will release a special Switch 2 bundle, similar to the Mario Kart World one, featuring Pokémon Legends: Z-A as the title. This bundle is set to release on October 16.

The Switch 2 doesn't come with a unique design or anything that will make it more enticing for collectors. The game itself isn't even a physical copy, just like MK World, it'll be a digital code for you to redeem.

It's priced at $500, so you'll be saving $20 in the game.

Is Pokemon Legends Z-A Getting A Switch 2 Update?

If you were wondering about it, yes, Pokemon Legends Z-A does have a Switch 2 upgrade.

It'll have big performance upgrades that will undoubtedly make playing it on Switch 2 the optimal way of enjoying the game. Fret not, however, as the game will still (probably) run perfectly okay on the 2017 console.

Reminder that Pokemon Legends Z-A will be released on October 16 for both the original Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2
