Street Fighter 6 pro players Cosa and Kobayan had their hotel room ransacked in Las Vegas as they prepared to play at this year's Evo.
The incident was reported by Cosa via social media, with FGC commentator Jiyuna providing a translation of the original post. The Japanese player stated that, while both he and Kobayan were out getting supplies for their stay in Las Vegas, somebody broke into their room, stealing all sorts of equipment, including controllers, laptops, and more items.
Cosa, who is sponsored by Saishunkan Sol, explained that his organization is trying to help out with the situation.
Both Cosa and Kobayan are still expected to compete at Evo, with high chances of making a deep run. Cosa has had recent solid performances at major events, including a 17th finish at Evo Japan earlier this year.
Kobayan is also one of the players fans are expecting to have an amazing showing. The Zangief specialist managed an impressive 3rd place at Evo Japan; however, his two recent outings at North American majors have seen him place 33rd at CEO and Blink Respawn.
