  • Quick Answer: COTW will get new outfits, and story mode inspired by Street Fighter 6

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is getting even more Street Fighter content with Season 2 on February 26, alongside the launch of Nightmare Geese. While no new Metro City reps will make it to South Town (so far), players will get two new costumes inspired by Luke and Juri, a unique Episode of South Town featuring JP, and, more notoriously, new gameplay mechanics inspired by Capcom's franchise.

If you're a Rock or Preecha main, then you'll get access to two very unique outfits, inspired by Luke and Juri, respectively. So far, only Terry, Ken, and Chun-Li have had alternate outfits, with the color editing tool making the heavy lifting when it comes to customization.

In the story department, it's clear that the events of Street Fighter 6 and City of the Wolves are happening at similar times, and now, JP will be terrorizing South Town and one particular individual: Terry.

Introducing a new Episode of South Town DLC, JP will take control of Terry's mind using psycho power, giving us a brand-new boss: Kage Terry. The word Kage can be translated to "shadow," and although it might seem like a reference to the Street Fighter V character, it does not seem to have any relation to the Satsui No Hado Ryu was constantly fighting, and Akuma embraced.

The star of the new COTW x SF6 crossover this time is the brand-new skills being added to Fatal Fury: drive impact and drive rush. Now, don't worry, these are being added to EOST only, but it's kind of crazy seeing Tizoc pull off a DI or Terry drive rushing in City of the Wolves.

As mentioned, this update will drop on February 26 alongside Nightmare Geese. Stick with us at Gfinityesports.com: your go-to source for all things Fatal Fury.
