The next LEGO game from TT Games is on the way, and it sounds like fans won't have to wait too long.
During his appearance on Kinda Funny Gamescast, industry insider Jason Schreier disclosed that the studio is working on a new LEGO game.
He didn't share exact details but hinted that the game could be released either later this year or early 2026. "They do have a LEGO game coming," Schreier said during the podcast. "I believe it's for next year… I could be misremembering, it's either later this year or next year—I think next year."
TT Games was known for releasing multiple LEGO games every year, but that pace definitely slowed down after LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga came out in 2022. The change came down to a few things, such as the post-pandemic struggles in the industry, longer production times, and the loss of key team members.
They were averaging a game a year, but after just one release in five years, this new project is a pretty exciting return. Rumor has it that TT Games is adjusting its strategy, making this upcoming LEGO game one of their biggest bets.
TT Games hasn't made an official announcement, but insiders are hinting that the next game will feature a major IP. Given the studio's experience with franchises such as Batman, Harry Potter, and Star Wars, it's no surprise that people are already speculating on their next project.
If the studio is, in fact, working on another top-tier adaptation, this might turn out to be one of the biggest LEGO releases we've seen in years.
