In-Person Event Schedule: Tokyo, Chicago, and Copenhagen
This summer, get ready for a journey of a lifetime with other trainers at the Pokemon GO Fest. The Fest will kick-start in Tokyo, Japan, from May 29 to June 1 at Tokyo Waterfront City. Trainers will be able to explore all the park has to offer before joining the Citywide Gameplay.

Further in-person events will also be held in Chicago, USA, on June 5-7 and Copenhagen, Denmark, on June 12-14.
On July 11-12, the global finale will take place on the Pokemon GO app. More details will be revealed soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

Exclusive Awards to Snag in Pokemon GO Fest
For those attending in-person events, you will be able to experience a newly reimagined Park experience culminating in a massive Raid at the end of each session. Each in-person event will allow trainers to explore four City Districts with different Timed Research to earn a Pokemon GO Expert in-game medal.

Each in-person event will be hosted by a different Team Leader through the game, guiding Trainers during their time in the park.
In the app, you can come across new costumed Pokemon, including Pikachu wearing Team Instinct, Mystic, or Valor hats. You can also take part in Special Research and earn an encounter with Zeraora. There will also be an increased rate of encountering Shiny Pokemon.
Besides that, you will score the chance to earn longer-lasting Lure Modules, Incense, and Party Play sessions. You can even get up to nine free Raid Passes, six Special Trades, and 50 Gifts each day.
