Fans will have to wait until 2026 at the earliest to play Persona 4 Revival. SEGA recently published its 2025 Management Meeting presentation (via PersonaCentral), indicating that the remake of the beloved P4 is set to come out during or after the next financial year ending in March 2027.
SEGA's financial year starts in April, meaning that it'll be at least 10 months at the earliest before players can expect to get their hands on Persona 4 Revival. Worst-case scenario, the game will be pushed beyond the financial year and into 2027.
Persona 4 Revival is perhaps the worst-kept secret from Atlus in recent years. It has been a long time coming, especially after the studio revealed Persona 3 Reload, a remake of the classic that aimed to enhance the experience with a fresh coat of paint all around, including an updated and slick UI, more music tracks, and remixed versions of classic ones, and gameplay refinements.
Did Persona 4 Revival Got Leaked?
In recent months, even the original voice actors like Yuri Lowenthal spoiled the existence of a Persona 4 Remake. Lowenthal, who voiced Yosuke Hanamura in the original Persona 4 as well as Golden, revealed he was not returning for Revival before the official announcement happened at the June 2025 Xbox showcase.
For fans expecting Persona 6, it's looking grim. Atlus has taken its sweet time with the more recent entries. P5 was first announced in 2013, with a 2014 release slated. The game would eventually get delayed and launched in 2016 in Japan, with a global release following a year later.
Persona 4 was one of the most popular games in the series, at least until P5 came along. The game got a few spin-offs including Persona 4 Arena, a 2D fighting game developed by Arc System Works, and Persona 4: Dancing All Night, a rhythm game created by P-Studio.
Hopefully, Atlus reveals more gameplay footage to keep fans somewhat happy amid what seems to be a lengthy wait for P4 Revival.
