With Season 4 of Overwatch Reign of Talon approaching, Blizzard has started revealing what's coming this time to the hero shooter. The first set of reveals took place on the final day of the Midseason Championship at EWC 26, where we saw all the changes from the upcoming map reworks.
While we wait for the season to kick off, here is everything we know about the new content to get you up to speed.
When Does Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 4 Start?
Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 4 is scheduled to start on Tuesday, August 11. An update will go live at 11:00 AM PT (7:00 PM BST) to add all the new content and disable the Season 3 elements.
The season is expected to last between 8 and 9 weeks, with a major mid-season patch arriving in the middle to bring the second half's content.
Map Reworks
As revealed on the Midseason Championship at EWC 26, this season brings reworks to three core maps: Eichenwalde, Paraiso, and Busan.

New Hero
The season will introduce a new hero, which is expected to be one of the meka squad members. Although we are still waiting for confirmation, D.Mon seems to be the member coming to the game.
Her real name is Yuna Lee, and she is described as one of the most responsible members on the team, always putting the mission above everything else.

Based on the silhouette for this year's new heroes, we can assume that she will have her own mech, titled Beast, and will be a new Tank. Her abilities are still an enigma, but it will be interesting to see how different her kit will be from D.Va's.
The new hero will be fully revealed on Thursday, August 6, as announced at the Midseason Championship.

Here are other minor details we can point out about the new season, so you don't miss out on anything:

- Genji is expected to receive a new mythic skin, while Sojourn will receive a mythic weapon.
Once we have more information about the new content of the season, we will update this article to have all the details in one place.
