- Quick Answer: Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 2 will follow the usual format and last about two months.
Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 2 is now underway, bringing Sierra into action, a reworked Antarctic Peninsula map, a new post-match screen, and more. With all the new battle pass cosmetics and the mythics, there is plenty to grind for this season.
However, you won't have unlimited time to complete the pass, as the season is on a timer. We have all the information about when it will conclude to help you program your grind accordingly.
When Does Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 2 End?
Season 2 of Overwatch Reign of Talon is scheduled to finish on Tuesday, June 16. This means the season will last nine weeks or a little over two months, following the game's usual format. A patch will drop at 11:00 AM PT (7:00 PM CEST) to mark its conclusion and add the Season 3 content.
Before that, a major update will arrive at the midpoint, which should be on May 12 or May 19, to add all the mid-season content.
What Can We Expect from the Mid-Season Update?
Although the start of the season brought major additions to the game, others won't go live until the mid-season patch arrives.
One of the things many are expecting is the new Ana mythic skin, which has been teased with some cosmetics we can get in the battle pass, as seen below:
The Egyptian-themed skin is titled Ra Ana, making the support hero younger and dressing her up to fit the theme, with wings on her arms.
The mid-season update will also add Jetpack Cat to the Stadium, becoming the first out of the Season 1 heroes to be added to this mode. Her kit will be revealed through the patch notes once the update goes live, or a day before if we are lucky.
Although it hasn't been confirmed, we are also expecting to see the new Ramattra Diablo skin, which was teased in the launch trailer. However, given that Season 13 of Diablo IV will launch before that, we can not be 100% sure about that.
If you haven't tried the new season yet, make sure to read our article listing all the perk changes, as some heroes' perks have been integrated into their kit, and new perks have been added to replace the old ones.
