It’s been a while since we’ve seen a My Hero Academia video game, but it looks like that’s about to change. After the success of more serious anime games like Dragon Ball FighterZ and Guilty Gear Strive, a new My Hero game may have been leaked. Supposedly called My Hero Academia: All’s Justice, this looks to be a continuation of the previous One’s Justice games.
The leak comes from X user SérgioM3, who showed off some leaked key art for this new My Hero game. Based on the image below, this does look pretty legitimate, and we could see a third game in this anime arena fighter series. An announcement looks imminent, and fans of the previous two fighters are intrigued.
Despite the bad rep these anime arena fighters get, the My Hero Academia games are up there with Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm as titles in this genre with actual depth. Characters feel unique, there’s strategy when planning out moves, and fans will have to master these simple mechanics to get ahead. Both One’s Justice games got average reviews from critics, but they did have a following that led to the second game getting more DLC than usual.
While it might not be as popular when compared to Dragon Ball or Jujutsu Kaisen, the My Hero anime is still considered top-tier by many. Tackling political and systemic superhero issues that Marvel and DC don’t always touch, it has captured the imagination of fans everywhere. Now that this series is going to end, it makes sense to release a new game that makes this climax feel more epic.
Events like the Anime Expo will be happening in early July, so there’s a chance that we’ll see My Hero Academia: All’s Justice announced in this show. There might also be other anime game news, but fans will be on the lookout for this particular anime arena fighter. If we’re lucky, this game could lead to more titles that properly follow the anime’s story or additional content for My Hero Ultra Rumble.
