A whole new Monster Hunter Stories adventure is on the way following its announcement in today’s Nintendo Direct.
After years of speculation, the third entry in the series is finally here, and it’s real. Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is a brand-new journey set in the familiar lands of the Monster Hunter universe.
In Twisted Reflection, we meet a fresh cast of characters, but the same beloved monsters return, including Rathalos and its mysterious twin, which appears to be central to the game’s plot.
Unfortunately, no gameplay has been shown yet, but the visuals are getting a significant upgrade, clearly running on a new version of the RE Engine instead of the older MT Framework.
There’s still a lot we don’t know about Monster Hunter Stories 3, but this is exciting news for fans of the Pokémon-like Monster Hunter RPG. It’s not always about hunting, sometimes it’s about bonding, nurturing, and growing with your monsters.
