What Platforms Will Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Be Available On?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and the Nintendo Switch 2.

If you want to play the game on PC, you can get it via Steam, Battle.net, or Xbox on PC with the XBOX Play Anywhere support.

Sadly, the game will not be available on the PS4 or Xbox One. It also will not be available on Game Pass at launch, but could potentially be added later on.

Modern Warfare 4 Editions and Pre-Order Bonuses

There are three editions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4: the Vault Edition, the Standard Edition, and the Physical Standard Edition.

The Standard Edition includes the full base game on your preferred platform. The Physical Standard Edition is the same, just with a physical disc.

The Vault Edition includes the digital Standard version of the game. You'll also get the Hostile Alliance Operation Pack, Special Forces Operator Pack, and Signature Weapon Collection. You'll also get DMZ Deployment Bonuses, which provide additional content later on.

Like in previous years, there will also be a Vault Edition Upgrade available for those who acquire any standard edition. Anyone who decides to upgrade their game after purchasing it to obtain the extra benefits can simply buy this upgrade.

All editions include early access to the beta and the Hunter Killer Operator skin as part of the pre-order bonuses.

The price for the Vault Edition can be lower with the new loyalty discount. If you've digitally or physically owned and played a premium Call of Duty title dating back to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) or played one of the games via XBOX Game Pass and still have an active subscription, you can pre-order the Vault Edition with 10% discount.

Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version are not available at the time of writing, as Activision stated that they will go live at some point during the Summer.
