In general, these are the tips you need to follow if you want to have a better shot at completing the challenge:

- Practice high-damage, easy-to-execute combos; don’t get fancy
- Pay attention to technical bonuses
- Save scum

Soul Card Buildcrafting
You might not think the bonuses of the Soul Cards are too beneficial, but trust me: they are.
At higher levels, it is imperative that you have a decent build that lets you maximize damage from your BNBs. Which cards you get are random, but you can redraw if you accumulate enough technical bonus points. You’ll be limited in the number of cards to a small number at first, but the more you progress, the more slots you’ll get to equip more, up to five.
What’s cooler is that if you already have a card in your deck and you get it during a new draw, you can stack them to level them up, making their effects more powerful.
In my run, I used Magik on point and equipped cards that gave fire-based skills and projectiles more damage. You can already tell what sort of havoc she was causing, as I was able to crack upwards of 55k with a very simple combo that was easy enough to be consistent.

Practice Solid, Stable BNB routes
You want to maximize your damage as soon as you get a hit on greater difficulties. There’s no shame in keeping it simple; you’re fighting CPUs designed to cheese you after all, not playing ranked or at Evo.
You’ll need a bit more than autocombos, so use this mode as a means to memorize a proper manual BNB combo for the character you wish to main first. It doesn’t have to be extra fancy, but at least try to properly utilize resources like assists and special moves, and finish up with a Super here and there.
If you get the right Soul Cards, these will empower that combo, making you do more damage progressively as you go along.
Pay Attention To Technical Bonuses
Getting a little creative is rewarded, so always be mindful of it.
After four rounds leading up to a boss, you’ll get a score breakdown of how you performed. You’ll get extra points for things such as performing high-damaging combos, finishing up a round with a super or special, etc. So always be sure to add that extra oomph if you’re about to finish an opponent.
These points will allow you to earn more Soul Cards when you beat a boss, meaning you can potentially stack the ones you already own, making them more powerful much faster.
Save Scum
The final tip is a bit controversial, but listen, everything’s fair game, so try and save scum if you can’t endure doing it all in one go.
The game lets you save and quit after you beat a boss; doing so will boot you back to the main menu, letting you pick up right where you left off next time you wish to play. If you get beaten, simply quit the game and restart it from your saved file.
