The Marvel Rivals hype train shows no signs of slowing down. With the full release of the Fantastic Four now playable in the current Season 1.5, the excitement continues to build — not just for the heroes but for Marvel Rivals’ multiverse-shifting story.

Speculation is mounting that the next season could introduce mutants, Krakoa, and even the Hellfire Gala.

While this remains unconfirmed, fans have pointed out intriguing hints in the game’s latest Gallery Card story. Now that Dracula’s reign over New York has been thwarted, it appears that Doom has ulterior motives. After players helped Ratatoskr stop Dracula and save Blade, another version of Doom set his sights on the Hellfire Gala — an event that, as many fans know, takes place in Krakoa, the massive, sentient island for mutants.

Longtime Marvel fans recognize the Hellfire Gala as a prestigious social event for mutants. Its inclusion in Marvel Rivals could mean alternative costumes for characters like Storm in her regal Queen Regent attire or Magneto in full mutant splendor. We might even see teasers for additional mutants joining the roster.

If you've been following our Marvel Rivals coverage, we've already explored leaked heroes and upcoming maps for the game’s future. According to notable leaker @X0X_Leaks, Krakoa is expected to be a Domination map. At the same time, its counterpart, Arakko, will serve as a Payload map — similar to the Empire of New York Midtown map from Season 1.

The possibility of Krakoa arriving next season is massive, as Marvel Rivals players are eager to get their hands on more X-Men and other mutants. Leaked characters reportedly include Jean Grey, wielding the Phoenix Force, and the indestructible Emma Frost. Both have had their character interactions with other heroes leaked online.

In our previous piece on leaked Marvel heroes, we discussed how Jean Grey’s abilities could make her a disruptive force on the battlefield. As a Strategist, she could potentially shut down enemy abilities with her telepathic powers and switch between Phoenix Mode and her standard Jean Grey form.

Emma Frost, who may arrive before Jean Grey, is expected to be a Vanguard capable of blocking attacks using her Diamond Form. While the full extent of her abilities remains unknown, leaks suggest she could shift between her regular and Diamond forms, making her a formidable presence on the battlefield.

These are still speculations, but the clues are everywhere—supported by leaked data and voice lines.
