Eternal Anima is being developed by RPG veterans. The game's director is Katsuhisa Higuchi, and he is working alongside story concept writer Keisuke Makino and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima, who is known for his work on Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 10, and the Kingdom Hearts series.
