One of the most annoying things about Crimson Desert is the cooldown after mounting a dragon.

The Blackstar - a dragon is a legendary mount unlocked after completing the Chapter 11 questline. You would think that, as a permanent mount, you can ride them at any time. But that's not the case - the dragon can only be ridden for 15 minutes and has a whopping 50 minutes cooldown.

For many, this is a deal-breaker. However, players soon discovered that one item eliminates the dragon cooldown completely. And that item is Narima's Horn.

How to Get Narima's Horn in Crimson Desert

To get Narima's Horn, you're first going to need to send your Greymane companions on an excavation expedition to the Timework Ruins. One of the rewards you can get here is the blueprint for Narima's Horn.

Take note that the rewards are random - if you don't get it, you'll need to send them to an excavation again. If you want to cheat the system, create a save before the expedition is gone, which is three in-game days, and if you don't get it, simply reload the save until you receive the blueprint.

After getting the blueprint, head to a Witch NPC - the closest one will likely be Elowen. Select "Craft Abyss Gears" and the option to create Narima's Horn will appear. To craft Narima's Horn, you'll need 3 Dragonclaw Horns, 1 Stalactite, and 2 Feathers.

After crafting the item, you can use it to clear Blackstar's cooldown, allowing you immediate access to the dragon.

However, take note that this is a single-use consumable. After using it and riding Blackstar for 15 minutes, you'll need to use another Narima's Horn to clear the cooldown. Currently, there are no other ways to clear Blackstar's cooldown, so farming Narima's Horn is your best bet.
