GTA Vice discovered that New Zealand will get access to GTA 6 on November 18th at 11:00 UTC. That’s 4:00 AM PT / 7:00 AM ET—nearly 12 to 24 hours before the official release in North America.

Even if you’re not a Kiwi yourself, you can take advantage of this by purchasing the game through a New Zealand-based account. Whether you’re on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, you can play early by following these steps:

How To Play GTA 6 Early On PS5

Unlike Xbox profiles, PSN accounts are locked to the region in which they were created. That means you’ll need to create an entirely new account:

  1. Go to the Sony website and create a new account based in New Zealand. You’ll need a valid local address (a public location works fine) and a fresh email address not linked to another PSN account.
  2. Use regional gift cards to fund the newly created account.
  3. Purchase GTA 6 on the New Zealand PlayStation Store and enjoy playing early!
