The latest patch update for Crimson Desert brought several new additions to the game, including the gorgeous Hyacinth Macaw.

Pearl Abyss has not slowed down on releasing updates, and they've seemed to place an emphasis on adding more pets and mounts to Crimson Desert. One of the newest additions is the Hyacinth Macaw, a legendary bluebird.

Here's how to find it and make it your pet.

How to Find the Hyacinth Macaw in Crimson Desert

To find the Hyacinth Macaw, you'll need to head to the Giant's Yard Outpost Camp in the Redtree Forest. This is located in the southeast region of the Crimson Desert. The exact pin can be found below.

When you first enter this area, you'll find it has been claimed by The Wolf Trackers. To proceed, you'll need to liberate the camp to ensure the Hyacinth Macaw will spawn. This will also complete the Giant's Yard questline for the Crimson Desert Politics faction quest.

Once the area has been liberated and is clear of enemies, take out your Sotdae of Bond. This is a crucial item if you want to tame birds. You need to complete the Authorized Access section of the Trembling Woods quest, as you receive the Sotdae of Bond as a reward.

Place Desert Melons in your Sotdae of Bond and wait for the Hyacinth Macaw. Take note that the Hyacinth Macaw is not a guaranteed spawn - you may have to wait hours for it to arrive. It has a higher chance of spawning if the weather is sunny.

The Hyacinth Macaw travels with a flock of smaller birds, the sun Conures, which may feed on your Sotdae of Bond, so make sure to pack plenty of Desert Melons.

Once the Hyacinth Macaw spawns, you'll need to wait for it to eat enough food so that the bond level reaches +100 Trust. Once your Trust Level is maxed, you can interact with the Macaw and claim it as a pet.
