GTA 6 is supposedly being released on November 2026. We say supposedly because, well, GTA 6 already has a record of delays: Take-Two and Rockstar have already delayed GTA 6 twice.
Fans are thrilled by the launch of GTA 6 but the uncertainty around the future of the title is still amusing, specially considering the video game is supposed to be released in eight months time. Luckily, a recent discovery may give fans a big chunk of hope.
It has been reported that a number of Grand Theft Auto VI title IDs have been added to the PlayStation database. This could be an indicator of the potential arrival of GTA 6 pre-orders, as well as the GTA 6's release price.
At the time of writing, this is just an assumption. We may have this information in the upcoming weeks, but also we may have to wait a bit longer. What's for sure is that more data about GTA 6 has been added to the PlayStation database, which is already a step forward into Take-Two and Rockstar's intention to release the game in November 2026.
In a reply to a comment made on the first report, Play Station Game Size mentioned that it's hard to say how long it will take for Rockstar and Take-Two to reveal the final prices. They stated that "it depends on the publisher" but they don't expect "it's going to be a long wait."
What fans truly want to know at this point is how much will GTA 6 cost. Rumors say GTA 6 will cost around USD$120, which has caused a lot of controversy in the gaming community. In short, people believe that Rockstar releasing GTA 6 for so much could affect the release prices of other video games, creating an undesired butterfly or domino effect.
Having access to pre-order information will not only reveal GTA 6's release price. It will also give players information on what will the game include, as well as, logically, the release date. Unfortunately, those questions haven't been answered yet. However, the addition of Grand Theft Auto VI title IDs is the first step. Will you immediately purchase GTA 6 when the option is on the table, or will you wait for potential future discounts?
