The second GTA 6 trailer has sent the entire internet into a frenzy—a perfectly normal response for players who’ve been waiting 13 years for this game. After a long-expected delay announcement, Grand Theft Auto 6 is officially set to release on May 26 next year. But the new trailer has reignited excitement, especially with its stunning open world of Leonida and impressive in-engine visuals.

Rockstar’s website gave us a glimpse into this expansive world, so here are all the confirmed locations in the game:

Vice City

Night Life.

The urban heart of Grand Theft Auto 6, where everything under the sun (and moon) is happening. Surrounded by the white sands of Ocean Beach and pastel-colored skyscrapers, Vice City is perfect for players who want to relax, unwind, and soak in the sights in between committing crime sprees.

It’s what Pacifica could’ve been in Cyberpunk 2077, minus the apocalyptic destruction and lack of government support. Vice City will be a haven for some, as they cruise on yachts, party on boats, and live the millionaire lifestyle.

Boat Parties!

If Vice City is the bustling urban hub, the Leonida Keys serve as its laid-back, rural counterpart. Likely inspired by Florida’s Key West, this tropical archipelago is dotted with islands, each teeming with life. It’s every player’s ideal getaway, to escape crime…and maybe commit a little more, but under the tropical sun.

Expect underwater diving and wild boat parties while basking under the golden sunshine.

Swamped.

The marshlands of Leonida; swampy, lush, and not without danger. Grassrivers looks like an emerald crown: beautiful but with teeth. Beneath its wetlands lie dangerous predators, both alligators and the local population.

Here, players can go off-road racing, pull off marshland heists, or just lose the cops in the dense cover of the swamp.

Port Gellhorn

Rundown Establishments.

Likely modeled after Panama City, Florida, Port Gellhorn is a coastal town slowly being drained by government neglect and local decay. It's filled with cheap motels, rundown attractions, and abandoned malls. The main draws? Drugs and dirt bike racing.

This isn’t the place to relax. Hostile locals have claimed it as their own, and they don’t take kindly to outsiders.

Ambrosia

Industrial Zone.

Ambrosia is the industrial lifeblood of Leonida. With factories, massive trucks, and thick smoke filling the skies, it's where the region’s sugar wealth is born. But it’s also overrun by a biker gang proud of America’s "good old days."

Expect trouble, noise, and maybe some heavy-duty missions.

Mount Kalaga National Park

Kayak!

Grand Theft Auto 6 isn’t just neon skylines and city chaos, it’s also where nature roams wild. Mount Kalaga National Park is the game’s wilderness area, perfect for dirt racing, animal hunting, kayaking, or just getting lost among the trees.

Rumor has it, this place is haunted, possibly weird enough to spawn an entire subreddit for paranormal GTA fans.

Anyway, these are the six major locations in Rockstar’s highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 that we know of so far. The details are already listed on their website, but we’ve speculated on what kinds of chaos and adventure players might get into across each unique biome.

Grand Theft Auto 6 launches May 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
