It won't just wrap things up, but the version will also set the stage for the upcoming Nod-Krai. Version 5.8 will bring a new reaction of Lunar Electro-Charged, which is likely going to be something that'll feature heavily in Nod-Krai batches of updates.

Genshin Impact 5.8 Livestream Date and Time
The Genshin Impact Version 5.8 livestream should be on July 18, 2025. While the date isn't official, HoYoverse always schedules them on Friday two weeks before the update.
As for the exact hour, the stream should start at 5 AM PT (1 PM BST, 8 AM ET).
With the update set to go live on July 30, 2025, based on the game's current cycle of a new version every six weeks, July 18 is when developers will share full details. Still, while this is the usual schedule, they have been moved around on a couple of odd occasions due to unexpected events or holidays.
Where to Watch the Genshin Impact 5.8 Livestream
Both Genshin Impact's official Twitch and YouTube channels will air the upcoming version 5.8 stream. A version trailer will also be uploaded on YouTube right after the stream, so you can catch up later even if you missed the livestream.
What to Expect From the Genshin Impact 5.8 Livestream
Pretty much everything about version 5.8 will be detailed in the upcoming Genshin Impact livestream. Below is the list of things you can expect to be shown, per leaks.

- Details on other banner reruns, leaked to be Mualani, Chasca, and Citlali.

- Full look at the new yearly limited-time summer vacation region, like Summer Fantasia and Summertide Scales and Tales.
- QoL changes.
- Details on new leaked Archon Quest and the Mare Jivari, alleged to be added with version 5.8 as a domain.
Of all the information, Ineffa is officially confirmed. Additionally, we always get a new limited-time region themed as a mini summer vacation planned by the old hag in X.8 updates.
There have been multiple leaks showcasing the new summer region, including gameplay, so it is all but confirmed that we will get a new area. It is leaked to be permanent this time around, however.
That won't be the only new area added. We'll also get Mare Jivari, an area of Natlan that abruptly vanished shortly after a monster with the "size of a mountain" showed up.
Leaks also reveal that the monster will be a boss fight — the dude does look pretty big, so Granny wasn't underselling. It is said that Mare Jivari is part of World Quest and will be only "domain-sized." So, don't expect a full-fledged region, at least not for the next update.
HomDGCat also leaked a new Archon Quest for the update that'll serve as a prelude for Nod-Krai. Similar to "Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves," we had for Inazuma featuring Kaedehara Kazuha.
