After a few hints and teasers, Epic Games has finally confirmed the upcoming Overwatch collaboration coming to Fortnite in Chapter 7 Season 2 Act 3.
This crossover will add the following four heroes from Blizzard's shooter title as skins: Mercy, Genji, D.Va, and Tracer. All four of them appear on the collaboration's cinematic trailer, which also reveals that D.Va's skin won't feature her signature MECHA suit.
According to leaker ShiinaBR, the collaboration will also add the following content:
- New weapons and landmarks based on the Overwatch maps.
- Quests and free rewards
- Overwatch NPCs in the battle royale mode
- Porsche Cayenne Overwatch SUV
One of the new landmarks will be the clock tower from King's Row, the famous payload map, as the building will be at the Sandy Strip POI.
The leaker also revealed that all four skins will be available through the shop in one big bundle. This package will also include 4 backblings, 4 pickaxes, 3 emotes, 1 glider, 1 weapon wrap, and 1 loading screen. Some of the pickaxes can be seen in the trailer, with D.Va having a giant sword and Genji using his trusty sword.

The Fortnite x Overwatch collaboration will arrive on Thursday, May 14, once the respective update goes live. Just earlier this week, the mid-season patch for Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 2 went live, kicking off the 10th anniversary celebration event and adding more new cosmetics to the shop.
