  • Quick Answer: Grand Theft Auto 6 is confirmed to release on November 19, and its marketing campaign will kick off in late June.

The recent Take-Two investors meeting had some interesting tidbits regarding Grand Theft Auto 6. Luckily, no delays were confirmed, nor an official price, but reassurance was given that the game will be hitting shelves and digital storefronts this upcoming November 19.

Social media was set ablaze following a report that mentioned a potential delay to May 2027. This, as many things said online, turned out not to be true, at least for the time being.

Beyond that, fans have been hoping to see more trailers or a big marketing blitz for the game. Not that it needs it, as it's perhaps one of the few gaming projects that could sell without as much as a single 15-second ad.

That being said, the investor call also revealed that the marketing efforts will start in late June, just as summer kicks off. By that point, the release of GTA 6 would just be five months away, leaving Rockstar with less than half a year to fully showcase what players can expect from the highly ambitious title. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick essentially confirmed we won't be seeing anything GTA6 at Summer Game Fest: "So the next few weeks I don’t think it’ll be summertime yet, but when it’s summertime, Rockstar expects to start marketing ‘GTA 6.'”

Overall, Zelnick did state that the marketing efforts would be different than those seen with GTA V. What this entails, with many things regarding GTA 6, remains to be seen.
