Elden Ring will be making its debut on the Nintendo Switch 2, featuring in the console’s highly anticipated launch lineup alongside titles like Split Fiction, Street Fighter 6, Hogwarts Legacy, and Hades II. This marks a significant milestone as the Tarnished will now journey through the Lands Between on Nintendo's latest console.

While the Nintendo Switch 2 port of Elden Ring doesn’t introduce major changes, it stands out as the most significant FromSoftware title to land on the platform since Dark Souls Remastered. The port is designed to take advantage of the Switch 2’s upgraded capabilities, including 4K support, enhanced performance, mouse compatibility with Joy-Con controllers, and a Discord-like feature called GameChat tied to the console's 'C' button.

This will be FromSoftware’s second release for the Nintendo Switch, and with the Switch 2's improved hardware, Elden Ring is expected to deliver a seamless and optimized experience for players.

Additionally, the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is expected to be with the base game as a single package, allowing players to tackle both The Lands Between and the Shadow Realm in one comprehensive experience.

While there’s no official confirmation yet on whether Elden Ring: Nightreign will come to the platform, fans are hopeful that an announcement may come in the future.
