Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season 3 is continuing the monthly DLC releases, and now SNK has confirmed that Duck King will arrive on August 27.
Throughout the entirety of 2026, City of the Wolves players have been able to enjoy a brand-new character. Season 2 covered the period from January to June with Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, Wolfgang Krauser, Mr. Karate, and Fist of the North Star’s Kenshiro, respectively.
Season 3 kicked off with Rick Strowd in July and, as mentioned, will continue with Duck King on August 27. The announcement came at CEO 2026, one of the biggest fighting game events in the world. The reveal came alongside a slick trailer; take a look at it below:
Veterans fans were upset that Salvatore Ganacci was unveiled as part of the roster right before the game originally came out last year, as they believed having a DJ character with all the quirks associated with Duck King meant he would be a no-show. Clearly, they were wrong.
Overall, happy to see a character that’s been absent from SNK games for decades finally make a combat. He hasn’t been playable since The King of Fighters XI, so it’s definitely been a while.
