Once the time is up, the servers will shut down for both the multiplayer and Warzone side of the beta. Players will have to wait until Modern Warfare 4's release to enjoy the multiplayer side, and the Warzone content should arrive a little after, when the integration with the new game takes place in Season 1.

Will There Be a DMZ Beta Before Launch?

This year, the franchise will give Zombies a break, and DMZ will be Modern Warfare 4's third major mode. The mode is an evolution from the version we got in MW2 (2022), offering players a brand-new large map titled Hajin to drop and extract.

Although we just got out of a packed two-weekend beta, offering access to one campaign mission, and the new Resurgence map coming to Warzone, many believe that there is a chance we'll get a DMZ beta. The rumor started after known dataminer HeyImAlax posted on X (formerly Twitter) that "there is a 50% chance" of this happening.

Although the data miner didn't explain why he believed that, the chances of this happening are pretty slim at the moment, since launch is coming soon and Activision hasn't said anything about it.

Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to come out on Friday, October 23, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam and Battle.net. Anyone who pre-orders the title will receive early access to the campaign starting on October 16, a week before the official launch.
