Season 3 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone is approaching fast, meaning the wait for new content won't be long for players after the Season 2 Reloaded update. The teasers have already started, giving users some hints of what's coming to the game.

To help you prepare for the new content and to complete the current pass and challenges on time, here is everything you need to know about the start of the next season.

When Does Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 3 Come Out?

Season 3 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone is confirmed to begin on Thursday, April 2, for all platforms. A new update will go live at 9:00 AM PT (5:00 PM BST) to add all the new content, including a brand-new battle pass.

The season should last for around eight weeks, with a major update dropping in the middle to add all the content related to Season 3 Reloaded.

What Can We Expect From Season 3?

As teased in the outro cinematic for Season 2, the new season is headed to a "cold place", something that was also teased in Paradox Junction.

Further hints of this theme came with the first Season 3 art, in which we see a brand-new operator wearing cold-weather appropriate clothing.

We can assume one (or maybe more than one) multiplayer map in Season 3 will be set in a cold climate. One legacy map that comes to mind is Summit, but it remains to be seen if the classic Black Ops 1 map will get another remake.

Treyarch has confirmed that Plaza, the map originally introduced in Black Ops 2, will be making a return this season.

The next Zombies map is also likely to have a cold theme, but clues are very scarce at the moment. We know for sure that this map will launch with the Season 3 Reloaded update, meaning there are still a few weeks left.

The first key art also shows the operator holding what looks to be an M27, suggesting that the gun could make a return in this Call of Duty.

As for Warzone, we can expect more updates and additions to Black Ops Royale, the brand-new Blackout-inspired experience that was recently added. Significant updates to the Avalon map are very unlikely, given that the map itself was modified from its Endgame version to play better here.
