The Hawker HX is a brand-new sniper that is now available for Black Ops 7 and Warzone. The weapon design is very reminiscent of the Ballista sniper rifle from Black Ops 2.
The weapon's behavior is also similar to the Ballista, as it's described as a bolt-action sniper rifle with high mobility. However, it also has a higher recoil and flinch, something that the Black Ops 2 weapon didn't have. If you want to give it a go, we will explain how to unlock it.
How to Unlock the Hawker HX in Black Ops 7 and Warzone
To unlock the Hawker HX in Black Ops 7 and Warzone, players will need to collect enough bottle caps in the Quantum Exchange event.
The event has a series of rewards that can be exchanged for bottle caps, as that's the event's currency. The sniper costs 100 caps, sitting as the highest reward available, as you can see below:

To collect bottle caps, players can do the following:
- Get eliminations in Endgame, Multiplayer, and Zombies.
- Open loot caches in Warzone
This is one of the two Fallout-themed events that will be available for two weeks, both ending on Thursday, January 29, at 9:00 AM PT (5:00 PM GMT). After the event is over, players who didn't unlock it will have to wait until the weapon can be obtained through the Armory challenges.
The event offers other rewards like the Always One More finishing move, the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. animated calling card, the Above All loading screen, and the Radioactive Tanline emblem. After unlocking all rewards, players will automatically receive the new Nuka Assault blueprint for the Dravec 45.
