The Call of Duty community is buzzing after recent leaks suggest Black Ops 6 and Warzone are reviving some of the most popular weapons from earlier installments.

According to CharlieIntel, classic guns like the Grau 5.56 and HDR sniper rifle are making a return, plus there's talk of the Roze Operator skin coming back too. The Grau 5.56 and HDR were both dominant forces in the original Warzone, especially during Verdansk's prime from 2020 to 2021. The Grau's accuracy and manageable recoil made it a solid choice for mid-to-long-range encounters, while the HDR offered powerful long-range shots with one-shot kill potential.

Neither of these weapons has made a return since Modern Warfare 2019, so their return is a solid moment for the veterans. The leak also suggests that these weapons will be integrated into Warzone as part of Verdansk's rumored return, potentially shaping the long-range meta once again.

However, the big question now is: will they be as powerful as they once were, or will adjustments be made to balance them against newer additions?

As weapon leaks surface, more and more speculation surrounds the potential return of Verdansk in Warzone. The map is expected to keep its 2020 layout, with data miners noting key changes like a closed Stadium roof and adjustments to the Train Station interior.

While some players are hyped to return to the classic Warzone setting, others feel like nostalgia isn't enough to make it feel like the original. There are some questions surrounding whether Black Ops 6's engine can effectively support these classic weapons and mechanics.

The possible return of the Roze Operator skin has also sparked debate within the Warzone community. This skin was heavily criticized in Warzone 1 for its all-black design, which made it almost undetectable in dark corners. Many players labeled it as a "pay-to-win" cosmetic because it gave an unfair visibility advantage. If Roze is indeed coming back, it's unclear if Activision will do anything to stop the same issues from happening.

One of the main talking points is how these returning weapons will become available. Players are guessing that the Grau and HDR might be linked to a Battle Pass, a premium in-game bundle, or possibly a limited-time event. Previous monetization tactics hint that Activision could roll out several purchase options, potentially through a BlackCell Battle Pass, in line with other exclusive skins and weapons.

People are definitely riding the nostalgia wave with these leaks, but it's still up in the air whether they'll bring back the feeling of old-school Warzone. For now, players will have to hang tight for the official word.

But if these leaks are on point, Warzone could be in for a big change in the next few seasons.
