EA has revealed our first look at Battlefield 6, promising a ton of destruction for its campaign and overall gameplay. We also got to see the use of various weapons, vehicles, and explosives, setting up exciting cinematic set pieces. The lack of actual gameplay was disappointing, but the teaser did reveal that a multiplayer trailer will be coming soon.

Starting with the United States’ President making a dramatic speech, we then quickly cut to various war zones where a ton of destruction can be witnessed. From helicopters crashing into buildings to missiles being launched, there is plenty of destruction teased in this CG trailer. Seeing all of the vehicles and weapons does make us think that they will all be playable in the game’s final release.

The cutscenes do seem to tease the single-player campaign for Battlefield 6 that was leaked a while back. Despite the lack of gameplay, there were enough close-ups of characters to let us know that something offline is planned for FPS fans everywhere. Whether it can live up to the destruction seen here is something else, but it’s one hell of a tease.

Player freedom has also been teased in the press release after the trailer’s premiere. EA and Battlefield Studios are promising that players can use tanks, fighter jets, and so much more. It seems that player freedom will be a big part of this game’s appeal, and players can destroy a ton of things with that much freedom.

The ending of the teaser also promises our first look at Battlefield 6’s multiplayer will be happening on July 31. No official release date for the game was shown, but that could come after the multiplayer showcase. That’s in one week’s time, so it looks like the folks at EA are finally confident enough to show this game off.
