Team17 has released a new trailer for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, the new multiplayer shooter set in the Vietnam War.

The fast-paced gameplay trailer shows us many of the scenarios where players will be fighting, the different weapons appropriate to the era that will be available, and some of the vehicles. The game will feature not only aerial combat, but also boats for water battles deep inside the jungles of Southeast Asia.

Just like the first entry in the franchise, the title is expected to support big-scale matches, similar to Battlefield games. The first Hell Let Loose supported 100-player games, so it wouldn't be hard to think that the sequel will follow the same path.

The trailer confirms right at the end that a beta period will take place sometime soon, to allow users to try the multiplayer before its release. The start date for the beta or whether it will be open to anyone who signs up hasn't been disclosed.

Here is the trailer in case you haven't seen it or if you want to give it another look:

Hell Let Loose doesn't have a release date, but the game is set to be available on the current-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S) and the PC through Steam, Microsoft Store, and the Epic Games Store.

The game is being developed with Unreal Engine 5, an upgrade from the first title that was created with UE4.
