IO Interactive and MGM Studios have announced that multi-platinum selling and award-winning singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey will be the performer of the official title song for the upcoming video game 007 First Light.
The song, titled "First Light," was written and composed by Lana Del Rey and David Arnold, marking the return of the composer to the Bond franchise.

The song is available now on streaming platforms and is featured on Lana Del Rey's official YouTube channel. The title sequence for the song will be showcased for the first time on 007 First Light’s official channels on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Steam, and X on April 17th at 8 pm BST / 12 pm PST.
When asked about Del Rey and David Arnold's work for the 007 First Light title track, Haka Abrak, the CEO of IO Interactive, stated, "It’s a joy to watch two extraordinary talents like Lana Del Rey and David Arnold combine forces; the result feels instantly ‘Bond’ while still bringing a fresh identity for 007 First Light. David Arnold also spoke about working on the title and how music has been an integral part of the James Bond franchise. He stated, “The music of James Bond has always been a huge part of its identity. A title song has to tell us about the world we are about to enter. It has to intrigue, excite, and beckon us in. This song joins a long line of genre-defining songs, each one creating a benchmark of style that adds to the magnificent heritage that is ‘The Bond Song’."
He also spoke about working with Del Rey for the song, sharing, "That’s why I was so excited to work with Lana, an artist who brought elegance, atmosphere, and her totally unique character to this piece, which I hope will open the world of Bond to a whole new audience."
The title is set to release on May 27 for current-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S) and PC. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also scheduled to come out later this year.
