Treyarch has released a new Dev Video explaining the changes they are implementing to Black Ops 7's multiplayer, following the criticism and feedback received from the beta.
For starters, the developers addressed one of the biggest complaints, which is the Dexterity perk. Players needed to equip this perk to be able to ADS while sliding, diving, or jumping off walls, and the majority were against it, commenting that this should be allowed by default. The studio has listened and announced that this will be the case when the full game launches.
Dexterity will now increase the ADS speed and fluidity while performing these moves. Following these changes, perks have been rearranged, changing which perks can be combined. Here is the new order:

Some of the perks that were available in the beta have disappeared, but they haven't been removed, instead, they have been integrated into other perks. These are the perks that have been combined:
- Shadow and Engineer
- Vendetta and Assassin
- Bruiser and Close Shave
- Hunter's Instinct and Tracker
- Quartermaster and Gearhead
Apart from this major perk rework, the video also reveals that footsteps audio has been slightly increased, mantle speeds have been increased, and they are looking to reduce the skill gap that aim assists provide between controller and MnK players.
In case you haven't seen it, here is the Dev Video posted on Treyarch's official account on X (formerly Twitter):
Black Ops 7 is scheduled to come out on Friday, November 14th, for current-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S), last-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One), and PC through Steam, Battle.net, and the Xbox Store.
