The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has officially turned ten, and CD PROJEKT RED is celebrating in true monster-slaying style.
Launched on May 19, 2015, the now-legendary RPG has sold over 50 million copies worldwide and won over 250 Game of the Year awards. To mark the decade milestone, CD PROJEKT RED is rolling out a series of events, content drops, collaborations, and a brand new anniversary trailer that pays tribute to Geralt’s journey and the fans who made it unforgettable.
The nostalgic trailer offers a sweeping look back at the game’s story, characters, and impact over the years. It’s more than just a montage—it’s a thank-you note to the community.
The celebrations didn’t stop there. Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt of Rivia, joined CDPR’s Borys Pugacz-Muraszkiewicz for a special anniversary episode of REDstreams. The pair looked back on Geralt’s journey, the legacy of The Witcher 3, and how the character has evolved over time.
Next up: The Witcher in Concert, a live orchestral experience featuring visuals and music from the game. The first two dates are Boston on May 31 and Poznań on June 15, with the full European tour kicking off at Gamescom in Cologne this August. Tickets are already available for the tour, and more dates will be announced soon.
Also part of the anniversary rollout is a set of 10 new artworks from long-time Witcher artists, including Przemysław “TRUST” Trusciński and Grzegorz Przybyś — all printed on Displate’s signature metal canvas. These exclusive pieces will also be available on merchandise such as mugs and T-shirts.
On the audio front, CDPR has teamed up with Embody to launch the Immerse Gamepack for The Witcher 3, giving players access to personalized spatial audio. Anyone who owns Embody’s Cyberpunk 2077 Gamepack will get this one free.
There’s even something for younger fans (or longtime fans with kids): The Little Witcher — a new illustrated comic collection published by Random House Worlds — follows Geralt raising Ciri in Kaer Morhen with a more lighthearted tone. It’s available now in hardcover and digital formats.
And this is just the beginning. CD PROJEKT RED has promised even more surprises throughout the year. To stay up to date, fans can follow The Witcher across all major social platforms or check out the official website.
