Have you ever dreamed of playing as Yumia in The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land while she's rocking the classic Heihachi Mishima hairstyle? Well, for you and this one very specific dream, the latest Atelier Yumia x Tekken collaboration is a dream come true.
The bizarre crossover first made its way into Tekken 8, infuriating fans in the process. Why, you ask? Because all Tekken fans got was a strand of hair to use as a cosmetic on Reina. No, I'm not joking.
In any case, Atelier Yumia fans certainly got the better part of the collaboration. The Tekken takeover includes quests inspired by the iconic fighting game, a Reina outfit for protagonist Yumia, a Heihachi Mishima wig for Yumia, and two Tekken-inspired Maximized Mana Surges for Yumia.
Mana Surges are special enhanced states that allow you to go berserk. With the Tekken collaboration, Yumia can trigger a Tekken-inspired Surges that frankly look incredibly cool and detailed. Consdering Atelier Yumia is more action-oriented, it's the perfect fit.
How Much Is The Atelier Yumia x Tekken DLC?
Best part about the whole deal: Atelier Yumia players can get the Tekken DLC free of charge.

It's disappointing that the crossover was so heavily skewed in favor of one game. The minimal effort put in by Bandai just feels like a slap in the face for fans. Not necessarily because the Atelier series is particularly famous and players were clamoring for a crossover, but because it just adds another issue on top of the pile of criticism the game is currently receiving.
Terrible balance changes, DLC characters that don't resonate with the community, and delivering the bare minimum when it comes to collaborating with other franchises. At least Capcom is learning from their mistakes with Street Fighter 6, which is set to receive summer-inspired outfits and just dropped a K-Pop collaboration with Aespa, giving Juri a unique limited-time outfit.
