After being in development for many years, it can be said that the wait for Silksong has been more than worth it. The game is extremely polished, so much so that fans could say that it's even better than its predecessor, Hollow Knight.
While it is certainly an excellent sequel, I can say that it's lacking something that would have made it greater than it already is. Should it have had Hollow Knight's Godhome or anything to its equivalent, then Silksong would have been perfect, or at least close to it. However, that isn't the case, which is rather unfortunate.
Although it currently doesn't exist, Team Cherry must ensure that the sequel will have it at some point, and hopefully soon. The reason the developer needs to include it as quickly as possible is that not having a way to fight previous bosses actually hurts Silksong more than you would think.
Given that the game has been worked on for over six years, some expected it to come with its own version of Godhome right out of the gate. Upon discovering that the sequel doesn't have one, many fans, especially veterans of the previous game, were likely disappointed. They've set expectations for the long wait time they were made to endure for Silksong's release, and one of them includes a better version of Hollow Knight's Godhome.

The many Silksong supporters deserve to have it, and if Team Cherry wants to ensure it doesn't lose them and that they continue to love the sequel, then the developer will need to work on giving it quickly. A new Godhome should be implemented via a major content update, and it's best if it's done in the first one, assuming there will be multiple.
There is also another reason why Team Cherry should work quickly on getting it into the sequel: helping it stay relevant. It should come as no surprise that modern gamers are more skilled than those of the past, which means a decent number of them have likely already cleared Silksong, despite its challenge.
Such people need more reason to continue playing, and a new Godhome is the answer. Facing Silksong's many incredible bosses under harsher stipulations can bring about a new level of excitement that gets people to spend more time on the game.

Also, due to its potentially frustrating challenge, it could lead to numerous discussions on how to overcome Silksong's own Godhome, keeping the game and its community alive. It's certainly one of the best ways to keep the sequel relevant, and it gives players something to do as they wait for future title updates.
I'll say that Silksong is an incredible game, and the lack of a Godhome doesn't diminish its quality in the slightest. However, the sequel would have certainly been better off having it, which is why Team Cherry should work on putting one in quickly. Hopefully, we get it soon, or at least a mode that lets Hornet face off against old foes at any time she pleases.
