Astralis Starts Its New Chapter with a Partnership with Bazoom

Astralis, the Danish esports team known for its presence in the Counter-Strike scene, has announced a new commercial partnership with Bazoom, a prominent link-building platform.

Just about a month ago, Fusion Esports Group completed the acquisition of the esports team, entering a new chapter in its journey to return to the top. Now, under new leadership, the team has joined forces with Bazoom, a fellow Danish company.

Bazoom claims that the focus of this partnership is to create new forms of “digital storytelling and brand visibility.” The platform connects brands with 100,000 media outlets worldwide and specializes in strengthening online authority and search performance.

Jakob Lund Kristensen, the CRO and Co-Founder of Astralist, expressed his excitement for this partnership:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Bazoom as a partner. Their global ambitions and strong digital expertise align perfectly with our own focus on performance, credibility, and international growth. Together, we’ll push boundaries and strengthen both brands — building on what makes the combination of business, digital entertainment, and esports culture truly world-class.”

Kristoffer Krog, Head of Global Partnerships at Bazoom, shares the feeling, stating that they are “proud to partner with a team that shares our hunger to compete and evolve,” and also revealing that the company has its own internal Counter-Strike team.

The national pride also takes the stage in this deal, as the two brands are especially driven by Scandinavian quality. “It’s extra rewarding to support a Danish organization in the pursuit of adding more trophies to the cabinet,” expressed Krog.

In the announcement, Astralis stated that the partnership will be visible across their platform and will evolve in the coming months, so we expect to see the Bazoom logo in their branding as they work behind the scenes on what they’re experts at.

The team also hinted that they are looking to explore new commercial opportunities, meaning this could be the start of a new series of announcements on their way to restructuring and rebuilding into a powerhouse team once more. For those Astralis fans, this is all good news, as that will mean more resources to the team, equaling more support for the players, coaches, and every member.

The team was constantly at the top of Counter-Strike esports since its inception in 2016, making an impressive run from 2018 to 2020 and winning multiple A-Tier and S-Tier tournaments, some in succession. However, their highs haven’t been the same recently, and many are hoping this new leadership and partnerships are signs of the right direction.

Right now, the team has its hands full as two big S-Tier tournaments are coming up in November. The first one is Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2025, which will take place in Chengdu, China. The second one is StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, which is probably the most important out of the two since this is the first time the team has qualified for a CS major since 2022.
