Apex Legends is about to kick off Season 6 on August 18th, and one eagle-eyed fan has spotted what looks like a compound bow.
@Shrugtal on Twitter tweeted the discovery, which definitely looks like a futuristic bow, on an artist's portfolio. It's also now been deleted, so make of that what you will.
Apex Legends: Is A Bow Coming In Season 6?
We already know that the Volt, an SMG weapon from the Titanfall series, is coming as part of Season 6, but could this be a second addition to the game's arsenal for the upcoming content drop?
Interestingly, Shrugtal had previously spotted what looks like an ammo icon for arrows back in July. You can see it below.
Of course, it could be an elaborate photoshop, but the weapon would certainly break new ground for Apex Legends.
We've had sniper-rifles that fire triple shots, energy-spewing guns, and even whatever the Mozambique is supposed to be, but a bow would add a fresh new skill-ceiling to the game.
Considering how slow it is to fire (we'd imagine), it'll be a risky endeavour, but imagine winning a match with a Legolas-style arrow to the head. Honestly, I'd be happy to win a match full-stop.
